The Dog Control Officer is responsible for enforcing the Town's Dog Control Ordinance and the NYS Agriculture and Markets regulations pertaining to dogs.
New York State requires all dogs over four months of age to be licensed and vaccinated against rabies. Dog licenses are obtained at the Town Clerk's office.
The Town's Dog Ordinance prohibits dogs leaving their owner's property unless under the direct supervision of the owner. A copy of this ordinance can be obtained at the Clerks office.
