The Town of Hartwick Comprehensive Planning Committee (CPC) has completed its first draft of the proposed update to the Comprehensive Plan for the town. The proposed document can be viewed in the link below. Paper copies of the document can also be viewed at the Kinney Memorial Library, at the Town Clerk's Office, or at the Planning Office in the Town of Hartwick Municipal Building.
This plan represents the Comprehensive Planning Committee's first draft of a proposed update and is based on extensive public input and collection of information that has taken place over the last 12 months. Before the CPC finalizes the proposed plan and forwards it to the Town Board for consideration, the CPC is encouraging additional review and comment by the public and interested agencies.
A public meeting/hearing has been scheduled for March 4, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Town of Hartwick Municipal Building. A short presentation regarding the content of the plan and an explanation of the subsequent planning process will be provided. Both written and oral comments will be accepted at this meeting. Written comments on the proposed draft plan will be accepted until March 12, 2010 and should be sent to:
