The Town of Hartwick offers residents the FREE use of a recycling dumpster for fiber material (paper and cardboard), mixed containers (plastic, glass and tin) and scrap metal.
The recycling dumpster is avaialbe 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is emptied twice a week for added convenience to the public.
The scrap metal dumpster is located inside the fenced area behind the Municipal Hall on County Highway 11 and is available during the normal operating hours of the Highway Department as indicated below:
Summer Hours: M-Th 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Winter Hours: M-Fri 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
